Marisa and Alex were referred by our very first clients. Beloved, best friends to such a sweet past couple we knew from the start this was going to be something special! Marisa had her eyes on the ever-coveted Dos Pueblo Orchid Farm. With the highest recommendation to us, along with our extensive experience at the property we embarked on what we can only describe as the most effortless, playful and synergistic planning experience. We say it often, but will say it again. It’s all about the connection and the relationship. We have so much fun and are so inspired by our clients. You deserve to have this feeling with your planner!
What started as roomies slowly grew into so much more. Marisa and Alex now live in their new home in Silver Lake with their two kitty babies. With the majority of guests traveling from as far as Toronto and San Jose their dream was to create a perfect California experience. A celebration so good they would be sad it was over. They wanted their guests to feel completely cared for but also as comfortable as being hosted in their own home. Unique and exciting elements were a must, brining their personality to the canvas of Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm.
A lively, modern and funky narrative came to life with inspiration from their home like the speckled salad plate that you would never know was such a huge design driver. To late summer bounty of burnt terracotta and soft pastel nods. Guests were welcomed by an array of beverages including a refreshing coconut water. The ceremony view was indescribably only enhanced by a sweet, floral crescent hugging them as they exchanged personal vows. Cocktail hour featured the stunning, living green house and a variety of passed tasty bites. Upon the big revel to their greenhouse floral wonderland, Season's Catering presented a fabulous, family style dinner that felt beyond fresh, and California inspired. All danced the night away with joyous celebration under what felt like a million twinkling lights to not one or two but three musicians accompanying DJ Lady Sinclair of Haute Mobile Disco! Late night pretzels and warm coffee in the cutest custom kitty stamped cups kept the guest savoring every moment till Jump on the School Bus carried them all to The Leta hotel for an after party that would never end!
