Six months before the Pandemic was even a thought in anyone's mind Leah + Kyle celebrated their wedding with friends in family at the beautiful Ojai Ranch. Engaged in Amsterdam in 2018 Kyle surprised Leah with her dream ring followed by a week on the Amalfi coast in Italy. Based in Long Beach, CA they decided on Ojai for their wedding because of its casual and bohemian atmosphere. The Ojai Ranch hit all of their venue requirements from is ceremony view overlooking the Ventura River Preserve to its stunning backyard landscaping and Topatopa Mountain views.
Upon entering the ceremony area guests walked under a exquisite macramé arch made my the Bride herself. Flanked by bookshelves filled with plants from their Long Beach home furniture and pieces they loved were incorporated throughout their day. Cocktail hour was filled with music played by the Bride's fathers trio and escort cards were watercolored by the Bride's mother. While guests enjoyed cocktails and chit chat charcuterie platters were made and enjoyed by a chef friend. Reception began with the most stunning grand entry from the home into the backyard garden. Guest feasted on a bountiful farm to table dinner by Full of Life Flatbread including a live action wood burning oven station. Drinks and dancing continued as the pink moment glow settled into the valley. The celebration was topped off with a lively after party at local watering hole The Deer Lodge.
