California natives Jodie and Luka met in Portland, Oregon, where they now live, through mutual friends about three years prior to their engagement. The date was set in early October, one of the most beautiful and temperate months of the year in Santa Barbara.
The stunning Santa Barbara Historical Museum venue offered multiple areas for guests’ entertainment and an on-site bridal suite where Jodie could get ready. Guests were welcomed by a trickling fountain and a shaded view of the ceremony. Signature cocktails were followed by a beautiful seasonal charcuterie spread by top notch caterer Feast & Fest. Hundreds of succulents grown with love by the Father of the Bride were tucked into greenery table runners and escort card pots, which added a sweet and personal touch to the wedding decorations! We always recommend finding a way to include a personal touch, but this just went above and beyond.
The evening was topped off with smooth dance moves to vinyl tunes by Last Resort Forever. And then, guests watched as the bride and groom cut into the MOST STUNNING floral cake by Lori Stern, accompanied by a Jeroboam of Champagne. After party festivities continued down State street at a local bar, topping off the authentic Santa Barbara experience that guests will surely never forget!
