Colleen and Miguel met on the dance floor at a friend’s wedding, and then ended up getting married on the same date 5 years later! Two years into dating, they decided to get a bunny named Poe, a black Holland Lop! And a year later they got Lucy, a white American Fuzz Lop. These two special babies were featured on their Save The Date invites, hand drawn and designed by a friend. Poe and Lucy were also their cake topper.
The day of their wedding, Colleen and her closest ladies got ready on site. So many little details made their day special, from the florals designed by Colleen’s own mother to all the personalized touches, like the bunny details. Guests threw dried flower petals as they exited their ceremony. A lively Morrissey and The Smiths cover Mariachi group greeted everyone as cocktail hour unfolded.
Guests found their tables decorated by all their favorite vinyl records. Each place setting featured personalized placemats with the couple’s favorite song lyrics, and an amazing caricature cookie of their bunny babies. Dinner from The Habit truck was topped off with dancing, cake, and a late night hot cheeto bar! Little did we know lime on hot cheetos was a thing, but YES IT IS! Words cannot express our joy for Colleen and Miguel. Thank you so much for allowing us to help with your BEST DAY EVER!!
