Anna + Steven's day at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm was a mix between a traditional Jewish wedding and contemporary tropical narrative. Steven proposed to Anna with her beloved late Grandmother's diamond in a new delicate setting on a vacation in Lake Tahoe, CA. Living in Los Angeles and looking for venues Anna ventured north and became enchanted after finding the Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm. The living greenhouse created the perfect backdrop for their Badeken, Jewish traditional first look ceremony.
An emotional Badeken ceremony including the Ketubah signing left everyone ready for a stunning bluff side ceremony. A gauzy Chuppah covered the bride and groom for their vows and guests rejoiced after the ceremonial glass was broken. Post ceremony cocktails and charcuterie were enjoyed in the lush living greenhouse before guests were welcomed into the reception greenhouse for dinner and dancing. A lively Hora lifted the bride and groom high above guests heads while holding a napkin to signify their union. The night was topped off with more dancing and rustic mini pies from a local farmers market vendor, a favorite treat of the newlyweds!
